After many years of writing and recording, the new album is finally here. "Strange Constellation" is night music - an evocative blend of field recordings and ambient soundscapes. Here Remanence explores the tween time and the arc between dusk and dawn. Its music about the nocturnal, both peaceful and ominous. It's the sound of insects, the trill of frogs, the pulse of fireflies, the night time lighting up in a dazzling array of stars. The music unfolds in layers of dense sonic whispers then slowly drifts off in hushed, muted silence. This one is sure to please those who love intricate packaging - Strange Constellation ships in beautifully printed artwork with insect photos and a velum insert.

Remanence: Storm & Stress

Conceived as a companion piece to "Strange Constellation", "Storm & Stress" is scheduled for a late winter release. It will contain a number of new tracks - some of which have already been recorded - and a few alternate versions of tracks appearing on "Strange Constellation". Expect drones, noise and chaos on this one...

Aperus: Collaboration
IN PROGRESS

It's too early to leak the details, but a collabortive effort between Aperus (Brian McWilliams) and an artist who shall remain nameless has been scheduled to begin in September, 2005. Everything else Aperus that was previously planned has been put on hold for now. Hopefully time will allow for some new solo material next year.
