Ambient • © 2005 mPATH Records

"Strange Constellation" is night music - an evocative blend of field recordings and ambient soundscapes. Here Remanence explores the tween time and the arc between dusk and dawn. Its music about the nocturnal, both peaceful and ominous. It's the sound of insects, the trill of frogs, the pulse of fireflies, the night time lighting up in a dazzling array of stars. The music unfolds in layers of dense sonic whispers then slowly drifts away in hushed, muted silence. This one is sure to please those who love intricate packaging - Strange Constellation ships in beautifully printed artwork with insect photos and a velum insert.

"Your beautiful packaging and attention to detail really caught my eye, your music hooked me. Gorgeous music, beautiful artwork. A collectors item!" - Rusty, Drone Zone

"A Strange Constellation of Events [is] a perfect example of elevated, flawlessly produced ambient music, something that is inevitably bound to invite comparisons with stars of recognized magnitude, such as Lustmord, Steve Roach, Robert Rich, Jeff Greinke, Vidna Obmana, Alio Die or Amir Baghiri." - Daniel D. Stanisic, Spiritual Profit Radio Programme

"The care and attention that go into your music (even the packaging is immaculate) always results in a very special release and this is no exception. Wonderful." - Eric Sorensen, Customer Review

Dark ambient • © 2003 mPATH Records

Inspired by the obscured photographs resulting from camera problems during a trip to New Mexico, Remanence's Brian McWilliams embarks on his first solo outing. Musically, the album explores the meeting point between harshness and light; wondering the boarderland between bleak, stark beauty and melodic serenity. Packaged in a DVD case, the album features striking organic artwork and includes a printed velum envelope containing original photos.

"An overall organic sounding piece of art, full of morphing atmosphere and textures... This is music which must be felt." - Bert Strolenberg, KLEM Magazine
